Shale Cut 3
Here, we model a fairly “clean” rock cut into layered bedrock where the individual beds are pretty thick. This works well both as a shale cut, and as a cut into more coarsely bedded sediments like limestone or sandstone. Dimensions are 10 inches by 5 inches, with minimal relief of a quarter inch or so.
