Long Thin Shale
This piece models a long, low, shale outcrop. Kind of like the name implies, right? It has very low relief, about a quarter inch, but has very fine bedding detail, and a nice, rounded top surface that makes it easy to blend into surrounding scenery. It pairs nicely with Shale 5, Shale 9, and any of the others that have really thin individual beds. Dimensions are 21 inches by 3 inches, with very shallow relief of a quarter inch or so.
